Great Dane-Ish

Light Dough
4 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 egg
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 cups water

Blend well to make a stiff dough. Roll out to 1/2 inch thick rectangle. Spritz w/ water.

Dark Dough
4 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 1/2 cups water

Blend well to make a stiff dough. Roll out to 1/2 inch thick rectangle. Peel up and place on light dough. Roll them up together like a jellyroll cake & freeze 45-60 minutes. Cut into 1/2 ” slices, bake on greased cookie sheet @ 350F for 55-60 minutes. Shut off oven, open door slightly & allow to set overnight.
