A quick note about the ingredients. Lately, many peanut butter manufacturers have been adding certain types of alternative sugars such as xylitol. Xylitol is extremely dangerous in even the tiniest of doses. It causes a rapid, dangerous drop in blood sugar and acute liver cell death in Dogs. Read the ingredients listed on the label to ensure your brand of peanut butter and yogurt do not contain any amount of Xylitol.

You’ll Need:
1 can of Pure Pumpkin (Not pumpkin pie filling)
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 c. plain yogurt

In a medium bowl combine all three ingredients, blending well until smooth. Pour into ice cube trays or small dixie cups (depending on the size of your dog!) and freeze for at least 6 hours before serving. To serve, give 1-2 cubes in their food dish.

Fun Fact, did you know that some feeding small amounts of pumpkin will prevent dogs from eating their own poo? A teaspoon per day added to their food is generally enough to prevent this common issue.
