It’s hot outside, but that doesn’t mean you have to let’em see you sweat! Here’s a simple tip to prevent sweat stains from ever reaching the fabric of your favorite shirts . . .
No one wants to walk around with sweaty wet armpits, here’s a simple solution that can help hide and otherwise embarrassing issue.
You’ll Need:
2 Pantiliners (1 for each side)
A Shirt
Apply a pantiliner to the the armpit of the shirt you want to protect. Put on the shirt, go about your business. Now, they won’t see you sweat!
Alternatively, if you don’t mind ironing, here’s another tip to prevent sweat stains in the armpits just by using baby powder.
What if you’ve already got sweat stains on your favorite shirt?
Perspiration Remover
Apply a mixture of one part hot water and detergent after every use.
Combine
1 cup vinegar
1 cup baking soda
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon hydrogen peroxide
Use a toothbrush or laundry brush to scrub the stain.
Perspiration Remover #2
4 tablespoons salt
1 quart water
Combine in a clean bowl or small bucket, Soak garment for 60 minutes, then rinse and wash as usual.
If the stain is really stubborn:
Make a thick paste of plain baking soda and water. Apply to the stains using an old toothbrush to work it into the fabric, then let sit for about 20 minutes. Wash as usual.
Any ideas for teenaged boys? I don’t see my son putting panty liners in his tshirt. He takes an extra shirt to school because he sweats so badly.
It is embarrassing for him.
