This Kool-aid playdough recipe has been around for years, but you don’t have to use Kool-Aid brand drink mix, you can use the store brands as well.

How to Make your own Playdoh

The trick to using the drink mix packet is to ensure it’s unsweetened. The sugar isn’t necessary, the purpose of the packet is to add color and scent to the homemade playdoh.

Kool-Aid Play Dough

The following recipe is per color of dough that you wish to create

You’ll Need:
1 cup Flour
¼ cup Salt
1 Packet Kool-Aid (unsweetened)

1 Tbs Oil

Mix the flour, salt, and kool-aid. Add oil, stir, add water and knead until the dough is smooth. You may not need the full amount of water, add 1/2 cup first, then the remainder if needed.

It will be hot, so this is best initially done by an adult.
