    • Is there a recipe for dishwashing tablets? I use Finish, with the red ball in it.

  1. i used to spend $50.00 on a facial scrub from a name brand retailer. When I knew that had to change, I made my own=1/4 cup each olive oil and sugar, and 1 TBS honey. My face feels and looks great, ad the cost is pennies.

  2. anyone have a pet safe remedy for mice? live in an older trailer, and have dogs and cats so concerned for their safety when it comes to first getting into the repellent and/or getting hold of the mice after they have been in it.

My husband bought a tin cat (metal box) You can get them now on e-bay $13.99 with free shipping. He would put peanut butter in it and leave the box on the floor. In the morning there would be a mouse or two in the box, and he would get rid of them and do it again the next night until they were gone.

He also made sure all areas they were getting into the house were sealed up. We have not had any more mice problems for about 4 years now.

  3. repairing wood furniture scratches

this really works wonders. it did a number on a darling little piece i picked up from a garage sale. it wasn’t in the greatest condition but the price was right, so i was determined to make it work some how.

i came across this recipe on domestic blisss squared:

1/4 cup vinegar in 3/4 cup olive oil

Use an old kitchen rag to wipe away the scratches, literally!
