Hard Water Laundry Detergent- aka Whipped Cream Detergent
1 bar fels naptha, grated fine, melted on the stove over low heat
1 cup washing soda
1 cup borax laundry detergent
Melt the grated fels naptha over low/med heat in 3 1/2 cups hot water. Remove from heat, add washing soda and borax
Stir until all is combined. Pour into a 2 qt mason jar.
Let it cool (it’ll separate into layers). Whip it into a cream texture in a blender or use a hand blender to whip. Store in mason jar.
Use 2-3 Teaspoons per load, will do 128-156 loads of laundry, depending on how many teaspoons you use.
Also, for less grainy texture you can add 1 Tbs Glycerin, (optional)
