Acne Treatment Remedies

Basil Treatment

Boil 1 cup distilled water, put in about 1 – 2 tsp of dried basil, take off flame and let steep for about 10 minutes. Strain water into a glass container with a tight fitting lid. (Baby food jar would be great) Use a cotton ball to apply water to face morning and night. Keep in refrigerator. Keeps about 5 days.

i use tea tree oil in with my conditioner. it’s really great if you have dry itchy scalp. i love the minty scent it leaves on my hair.

  2. the moistened asprin does work.. i add a bit of honey to it b/c when the asprin dries it makes me sneeze something awful.. but not when i add honey.

also.. the skin can become ‘used’ to the application of asprin, so use it only once a week..and use sunscreen!
beware though if you are already on medication that warn against aspirin ask your doc first!

    • What concentration of tea tree oil should you use? Where do you buy it?

You can buy it at WalMart, its with the supplements. It comes in a little glass jar.

i would encourage you to buy a therapeutic grade essential oil of the tea tree oil. it’s healing properties will be much stronger and quicker. you can find this for a great price on amazon.com.

  3. i take alcohol, like rubbing alcohol, a low percent maybe 60 or 75 and take a cotton pad. Rub it all over my face scrubbing. When you’re finished you’ll see all the dirt and grime you’ve got in your pores.

It’s nasty! You’d be surprised what you find on the back of your neck!

  5. you don’t have to look any further than your fridge and food cabinet for the best product to remove acne, even your skin complexion and make your skin soft and baby smooth. i combine 1 tsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice and 1 tsp table sugar.

I put this mixture on my face that has been heated up using warm water and clean hands. I don’t use it near my eye area. Then I rinse it using cool water.

After that I heat up my face again using clean hands and warm water. I put organic honey all over my face, once again, avoiding the eye area. I leave that on for 20 minutes and then rinse with cool water.

I don’t pat my face dry afterwards, I just let it air dry. You wont believe how wonderful this treatment is. I do this every night and my skin is clear, I have an even complexion and it is soft as a baby’s butt.
