Copper Cleaner

1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup salt
1/2 cup grated Ivory Soap (dissolved in 1/2 c. very warm water)
3/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon whiting

Mix the flour, salt and soap together until soap is thoroughly dissolved.
Add remaining ingredients, stirring well. Pour into a clean one-quart glass jar and cover tightly.
To use, shake the solution before using.
Pour some of the paste on the copper item, then scrub gently with a sponge.
Rinse, then dry. Buff lightly with a clean, soft cloth.
