Carpet Deodorizer
2 cups cornmeal
1 cup borax
10-15 drops any scent essential oil (not fragrance oil)
Blend well. Sprinkle on carpet.
Let it set at least 15 minutes, then vacuum.
Repeat if necessary.

i tried this one,but i didnt really like the texture of the cornmeal being dumped on my carpet. i opted to use baking soda instead. :moneystack:
using baking soda on a carpet is not a good choice as it will rust the parts on the vacumm found this out the hard way had to replace my cleaner after using baking soda for a year cost more than i saved.
