Fill your home with wonderful scents of spring and summer with this easy inexpensive homemade air freshener spray recipe that offers ideas for varying aromas including honeysuckle, lavender and more

2 c. white vinegar

Add 1 cup of one of the following (or 1/2 c. of 2 items):

cloves
rose petals
apple
orange, lemon or lime peel
rosemary
cinnamon sticks
vanilla beans, Chopped
honeysuckle
lavender
peppermint

Measure into a small pan Simmering over low heat for 8-10 minutes. When cooled, transfer to clean jar & allow to set for 2-3 weeks, shaking on a daily basis. Strain through cheesecloth or coffee filter into a spray bottle. Avoid spraying plants/children.
