i have a pair of winter boots made of poly-urethane, which has a problem with road salt or salt that is put on sidewalks, they have white wet marks around the lower edge of the boot and soles, would this solution work for them also? living in a northern state that is a major problem during the winter, that also combined with getting it on the bottom edge the pant legs, very ugly looking when they are black. grrrrr thanks for any information.
