Liquid Dishwasher Detergent

1 cup baking soda
1 cup borax
1 cup water
2-3 drops lemon essential oils (optional)

Combine all squeeze bottle, cap and shake vigorously until well dissolved.
Use 2-3 tablespoons per load.

  1. tried the above mixture in my dishwasher. it took three successive washings with store-bought dishwasher detergent, to remove the film the above mixture left on my glasses and dishes.

      do you perchance have hard or soft water?? I’ve used this in our dishwasher without any issues
