Hurricane Window Cleaner

This is the cleaner that we used to take tape marks off windows following a severe hurricane. If hurricanes aren’t an issue in your area, this is also an excellent recipe for cleaning shower doors.

1/2 cup ammonia

1 pint alcohol

1 teaspoon Dawn dish detergent

Water to make a gallon

Put ammonia, alcohol and detergent in gallon jug. Fill to the top with water. Shake before each use. Create a black x on the jug. I generally don’t add food coloring as I am afraid the kids may mistake it for koolaid!
