Guest Room Suitcase

In our large family we often have unexpected guests, fortunately we have a guest room but even if you don’t, you can put a suitcase beside your couch. Choose an old suitcase you no longer use, make sure its clean. I have a couple of old leather Samsonites I use. I sprayed the cases with Febreze (home-made) let them dry and then packed each with a quilt, pillow, towel, washcloth, toiletry pack (hotel size toiletries from last vacation), slipper socks, snack bags and a water bottle, and anything else I might think my guests will like (puzzle book, deck of cards, etc.). I put the case at the foot of the bed in the guest room. Our guests really appreciate it, and often thank us for having something they forgot.
