2 cups sugar
2 cups all purpose flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sodaSift & mix well. Add 1 cup oil, 1 cup buttermilk & 1 egg. Mix well.
Pour in 1 cup boiling water & 1 tsp vanilla. Pour into well greased & floured 13x9x2 pan. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.Leave cake in pan.
Icing:
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup pecans
3 Tbs cocoa
1 stick margarine
3/4 cup evaporated milk (1 small can)Cook over medium. Heat until come to boil. Boil 2 minutes stirring frequently.Add 1 tsp vanilla & nuts. Punch holes in cake with fork & pour icing over warm cake.

When I was a waitress at a local Shoney’s we used to have to make those all the time..yum!!

My belief is, anything with Hot Fudge is a winner!!! 🙂
