GuestLong term: I want to retire in 15 years at 55. I'd love to retire now ;^). I pay the bills, except for house insurance & property taxes and hubby stuffs away as much as he can into retirement.
Short term: I will have to get a new(er) car in the next year, which will hurt mentally (writing the check each month) more than fiscally, but it's inevitable. I am saving money for a down payment so my monthly expense won't be as much.My goal is to also find an interesting job that I can stay at for the entire 15 years………the company I work for has great benefits, but I am BORED! I don't think I can stay here for 15 years if I'm bored after 6 months, although I am very thankful for the job and benefits.
