The tax rebate is $300 for singles, $600 for married and $300 for each child as long as your AGI (adjusted gross income) is below $150,000.00. Amounts are prorated from $150,000.00 to $175,000.00 and cut out all together above $175,000.00.

You get $300 if you’re single and $600 if you’re married (which I am). I’m on SSD (I have Medicare & Medicaid because I have my 40 credits in) and hubby is on SSI (he only gets Medicaid beause he didn’t have his 40 credits) and we don’t file taxes but I went to the IRS site andefiled through one of their free tax programs (I used Turbotax). The thing is I could not use his SSI income which isn’t hardly anything anyway because of what I get from SSD. If you’re on SSI and get a statement at the end of the year showing how much was paid to you, you should be able to file. It’s very easy to efile. I received my direct deposited last Friday after filing for it March 23rd.

Be who you are…say what you feel…because those who mind don’t matter and those that matter don’t mind.

      Life is short…..break the rules…..forgive quickly….. kiss slowly…..love truly…..laugh uncontrollably. ….and never regret anything.

I was curious and confused to the fact of who has actually gotten
their checks direct deposited on how they filed. Most everyone has
done some sort of efile and had theirs previously direct deposited to
get their refunds faster in the first place so who didnt have their
refunds effected by the fees and the third party banks. I thought if
you weren’t mailing your refund in than everyone did it the other way
and some got their stimulus and some didnt. Plus some were saying that
they got all their taxes back previously so their refunds were only
300 a piece. What about the people they had file that normal dont file

taxes because of ss and such they were only getting 300 right? its
still all confusing to me and now I’m not even looking forward to it
      until I see it. Donna
