Stir-in-the-Pan Cake
1/4 cup Crisco oil
1 box Swiss chocolate cake mix
2 eggs
1 1/4 cups water
1 (6-ounce) package chocolate
instant pudding
1 (6-ounce) package chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350?. Pour oil into 9×13-inch pan. Tilt pan until bottom
is covered with oil. Pour cake mix, eggs, water, and pudding into pan.
Stir with fork or spoon until blended. Scrape sides and spread batter
evenly in pan. Sprinkle on chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 350? for
35-45 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cut and
serve directly from pan. Serves 16-20.
