FreebieQueenPike Nurseries will give away more than half a million ladybugs across all store locations during the upcoming Ladybug Weekend event. On Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2, customers will receive one fee packet of ladybugs to help keep their garden healthy this summer. Pike Nurseries will also provide fun ladybug coloring sheets for children to enjoy.
As the most popular form of organic pest control for the garden, these small bugs do big wonders for the garden since they prey on bad bugs like aphids, thrips and spider mites. Customers can learn more about ladybugs and how to attract other beneficial bugs to the garden at Pike Nurseries free Beneficial Bugs class, which will be held on Saturday, June 1 at 10 am.
As always, seasoned experts will be on hand throughout the stores to offer helpful advice and answer any questions guests might have about insects, gardening and planting.
