Sizzling Chili Pepper Oil

Four kinds of chili peppers season and add fire to this condiment.

Yields: 16 oz

Preparation time: 25 minutes


2 oz dried red hot chili peppers, chopped
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper, ground

8 fl oz corn oil
1. Combine chili peppers, chili powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper in a food processor. With processor running, slowly add oil. Process until all oil is incorporated.

2. Transfer mixture to a clean glass container; properly store for at least 2 days before using.

3. Decant oil before using.
