kathomeHello everyone, my name is Karen and I’m from Abilene, Texas. I’m married with 2 grown sons and 2 beautiful grandchildren.
I like to make as many things “homemade” as possible to save money, keep things simple and also to avoid chemicals and preservatives as much as is reasonable.
I crochet and quilt practically every day.

Hi Karen, welcome to the site! I hope the wild fires that have been plaguing TEXAS aren’t near you! I’m right there with ya on making things Homemade. I like knowing what’s really going into the food and eating fresh. Besides, it’s loads cheaper!

Oh, boy. I’ve only been here 1 day and I can see a problem already. I’m spending WAAAAAY to much time here and not getting my chores and such done.
