MYO: Chorizo Sausage
2 cloves garlic (or substitute 2 tsp. garlic powder)
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp.cumin
salt & pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. vinegar
few drops lemon juice
1 lb. ground pork
2 1/2 Tbsp.chili powder
Mix garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, vinegar, pepper
and lemon juice; put in ground pork. Add chili powder. Let
sausage ripen 24 hours in refrigerator.Heat a very small amount
of fat in skillet. Add chorizo and cook over medium heat,
stirring, about 5 minutes or until meat browns. Reduce heat;
cover and cook about 10 more minutes, being careful not to dry
chorizo.Use for breakfast, lunch or supper. Cook with eggs, beans, potatoes or
