      MYO: Chorizo Sausage

2 cloves garlic (or substitute 2 tsp. garlic powder)
      1/2 tsp. oregano
      1/2 tsp.

      cumin
      salt & pepper to taste
      1/2 tsp. vinegar
      few drops lemon juice
      1 lb. ground pork
      2 1/2 Tbsp.

      chili powder

Mix garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, vinegar, pepper
and lemon juice; put in ground pork. Add chili powder. Let
sausage ripen 24 hours in refrigerator.

      Heat a very small amount
of fat in skillet. Add chorizo and cook over medium heat,
      stirring, about 5 minutes or until meat browns. Reduce heat;
cover and cook about 10 more minutes, being careful not to dry
      chorizo.

Use for breakfast, lunch or supper. Cook with eggs, beans, potatoes or
shred raw potatoes, steam and serve with eggs.
