Do you buy little tubs of frosting because they’re “Convenient”? Throw out those little tubs containing odd ingredients and opt for this super fast, super easy 2-minute frosting in any flavor recipe… you’ll NEVER go back!

This recipe really is all about convenience. The most time-consuming part is measuring out a couple of ingredients, but seriously, how long does it take to really measure a cup of something?

How to make 2-Minute Frosting, In any Flavor

Combine chocolate chips, evaporated milk, and butter in a microwave-safe bowl and heat it for 30 seconds.

Remove, stir, put it back into the microwave for 15-20 seconds, remove, stir.

If the white chocolate still has un-melted baking chips, return to the microwave for another 15 seconds. Once the mixture is smooth, add the maple extract and powdered sugar, stirring well. Add more extract as desired to achieve the level of maple flavor you prefer.

Apply the frosting while it’s still warm. We like this one for glazing homemade yeast donuts, then top with candied bacon for a treat.

Always start with 1 teaspoon, then add more extract as needed to achieve the flavor profile you desire.

If you’d like, you can add a drop or two of food coloring to match the flavor profile. Frost the cake or cupcakes while the frosting is still warm.
