Oatmeal Cookie Mix: Kid’s Oven

1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup quick oats

Combine in a bag, seal.

To Use:
1/4 cup softened margarine
1 pkg mix

Blend well. Let sit 5 minutes. Form dough into
1/2-inch balls. Place on un-greased baking pan, and
press down slightly on each to flatten out a bit.
Bake. Makes about 2 dozen.

  1. how long would you suggest baking them? i like this recipe because it doesn’t make as much mix as some of the others and doesn’t add the margarine/shortening until ready to bake.

      Depending on how long you usually bake cookies in your easy bake oven what type of easy bake oven do you have

  2. You bake them according to the directions on the model oven you have, which depends on whether it’s the old style with the lightbulb or the new style without. I would check them after 8-9 minutes for the first pan.
