i am getting my daughter an easy bake oven for christmas and i found this site when looking for inexpensive mixes. i’m thrilled! but i have a question about this recipe.
i love that it makes up several mixes but how do you mix up the individual batches? i’m assuming butter but i’m not sure. thx.
Whoops, fixed, thanks for asking! :learncook:
Bought oven used, no instructions. How long do you bake these cookies??
How do you bake the cookies?
You follow the directions in the manufacturers manual for your particular Easy Bake Oven. If you no longer have the manual you can download it here:

The fat of the shorting should react with the baking powered slowly making it ineffective unless refrigerated. If one would like to leave out the shortening until mixing the individual packs the 1/2 cup is the same as 8 TBSP – so 1 TBSP shortening per package.
