This year, make your party guests “ooh” and “ahh” over this unique spiced cranberry cider mix that’s perfect for the holidays.
I was looking for a festive drink to serve this holiday season. I wanted something that would be different from the same old pumpkin spice latte or hot cocoa. I found a recipe for spiced cranberry cider mix, tweaked it a bit to make it my own and it turned out perfect!
The flavor is unique, but not too strong, and it’s really quick to make in bulk so you can share with all your family members during those busy holiday days.
For those who don’t want to buy all the ingredients separately (cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, whole allspice), there are also mulling spice kits available at many stores which include everything you need! It’s such an easy way to entertain without spending much time on preparation. Give it a try and enjoy!
A fun presentation idea- hollow out an apple using a melon baller, leaving about half an inch thickness to ensure the apple-cup doesn’t leak; serve chilled cider in the hollowed apple.

Spiced Cranberry Cider Recipe

2 quarts apple cider
1 quart water
1 package Spiced Cranberry Cider Mix (as listed above)
2 oranges, sliced

If you happen to have fresh mint growing in your home, a sprig or two of mint leaf imparts a nice flavor as well. Garnish with fresh cranberries and a cinnamon stick.
