Powdered coffee creamer is frequently used in households around the world for several reasons, it tastes good, it’s convenient and it stores easier than liquid creamers. Did you know you can make your own homemade powdered coffee creamer using just 3 simple ingredients?
Store-bought creamers contain a long list of ingredients including items that are difficult to pronounce, so we decided to create our own.
The secret ingredient in this recipe is the coconut oil, which imparts a creamy texture that reproduces that of the store-bought product you’re probably used to.
The first time I realized that I needed this recipe we were living in the Northwoods about an hour and a half from the nearest grocery store. Luckily I always keep powdered milk and coconut oil on hand for baking.
After eyeing the list of ingredients on the back of a creamer container I thought to myself, “reproducing this shouldn’t be that hard”. A few minutes later, coffee bliss. Smooth, rich, hot coffee with just the right amount of creamer, I vowed never to buy it again.
