Coffee creamer is frequently used in households around the world for several reasons, it tastes good, it’s convenient and it stores easier than liquid creamers. Did you know you can make it at home using just 3 simple ingredients?
Store bought creamers contain a long list of ingredients including items that are difficult to pronounce, so we decided to create our own.

The secret ingredient in this recipe is the coconut oil, which imparts a creamy texture that reproduces that of the store-bought product you’re probably used to.

The first time I realized that I needed this recipe we were living in the Northwoods about an hour and a half from the nearest grocery store. Luckily I always keep powdered milk on hand for baking and coconut oil and figured after reading from the list of ingredients on the back of a creamer container, “reproducing this shouldn’t be that hard”. A few minutes later, coffee bliss. Smooth, rich, hot coffee with just the right amount of creamer, I vowed never to buy it again.

You’ll Need:
3 cups Powdered Milk or Powdered Whole Milk (Organic)
3/4 c. Powdered Sugar
1 1/2 Tbs Coconut Oil

Melt the coconut oil, the combine all three ingredients in a food processor, mason jar bullet, or blender and blend until it reaches a finely powdered consistency.

Use as you would any powdered coffee creamer. If you’d like additional flavors, here are 20 additional flavors you can create using this basic powdered creamer recipe.

If you happen to have a mason jar on hand, this is a perfect storage container for your homemade powdered coffee creamer.

Alternatively, if you prefer a Liquid dairy creamer or a completely non-dairy liquid creamer, here’s a recipe for that, along with 25 flavor variations.
