Super Simple Blender Ice Cream in 60 Seconds
1/4 c. Half & Half
3 oz Sweetened Condensed milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp fresh lemon juice
2 c. whole milk ice cubes (1 tray)
Combine all ingredients in a blender and press the ice cream setting, if your blender has one. Blend until thick and creamy. If your blender does not offer an ice cream setting get a new blender. (Just kidding, sorta).
If your blender does not offer an ice cream setting blend the ingredients on low speed for 15 seconds, then blend on a medium to medium-high speed for 30 seconds more. This will ensure an ice-cream like texture rather than a smoothie texture.
To reduce dairy or sugar replace the cream with coconut, almond or soy milk. Replace the sweetened condensed milk with honey, agave nectar, or keto maple syrup.
Be aware that this should be consumed when it’s made, not frozen for later. The change in ingredients will cause the mixture to freeze to a more solid-state, rather than remain in an ice-cream like state.
