“I don’t know how people live without coffee, I really don’t” – Martha Quinn

Coffee is not a cup of tea; it is something much more exciting. Coffee is not only a beverage but a cup of liquid sanity. It’s an invitation into the day, cleverly disguised as a rich, brown liquid.

It has now become a morning ritual, and without it, it feels as though something is missing from your day. It refreshes the mind and helps ensure that you are able to tackle your day in a better mood. In short, coffee is the elixir of life.

Types of Coffee

Some of the more well-known types of coffee that are extremely popular are cappuccino, mocha, espresso, and french press coffee.

Possibly, one of the most popular types is cappuccino which offers three distinct layers. The first layer is a hearty shot of espresso; next, is a layer of steamed milk, and lastly, it’s completed with a layer of frothy, foamy milk. You can make it even more yum-fun with some various garnishings.

It is merely a mixture of cappuccino and hot chocolate. It is done by mixing espresso, and chocolate powder then steamed milk and the beverage is completed with frothy milk.

The preparation of Espresso is the finest coffee-making experience, and with a little practice, you can become an expert.  Espresso beans must be ground fine, much like the texture of table salt to achieve the best flavor.

French Press Coffee:

Another very interesting still the easiest and inexpensive way of making a coffee is by using a French Press. It is a more flavorful, smoother, and richer coffee-making method.

Steps to follow (for 4-6 servings):

Measure & Grind Fresh Whole Coffee Beans

To make French press coffee, it is mandatory to measure the coffee beans according to the number of persons who are going to have it. For instance, to serve 4-6 people, you’ll need about five tablespoons of whole coffee beans. Use a good grinder to crush the beans on the coarsest setting possible. Avoid over-grinding the beans, you don’t want a powdery consistency or your finished coffee will have a gritty feel that will appear muddy and create an undesired bitterness.

Boil the water and Rest

You need to boil the water in some kettle and then set it aside for about 1 minute to let it cool slightly. Add the coarsely ground coffee beans to the press, then add the water into the French press.

Fill and Stir

Initially, the water was boiled and then slightly cooled before pouring it into the French press. Next, fill the french press carafe to the top and stir vigorously for 15 seconds. Seat the cover on top.

Start the Timer

Once you’ve seated the cover, all you need is to set the kitchen timer to four minutes to allow the coffee to properly steep.

Plunge the Press

Once the timer goes off, it’s time to plunge the press to move the grinds to the bottom. Pour the coffee in your favorite mug.

Enjoy! Coffee’s Ready!

Now it’s time to sit at your comfy sofa with a favorite book in your one hand and a mug full of coffee in the other. Enjoy the French press coffee and breathe in the aroma of coffee.
