This luscious grape salad is perfect for tailgating or potluck gatherings. Juicy seedless grapes are folded into creamy sweetened cream cheese blend with just a hint of vanilla then sprinkled with brown sugar and finished with a generous helping of crunchy crushed pecans.
Whether you enjoy it for breakfast, side dish, dessert or afterschool snack, this versatile salad is perfect! To ensure that all of the ingredients combine thoroughly and the flavors have time to set, be sure to prepare this one a day ahead of time, so it can chill overnight in the refrigerator.
Prepare the Grapes
To start off, the grapes need to be removed from the stems, washed and then halved. Don’t worry, here’s a really simple trick for cutting all of the grapes in just a few seconds.
You’ll need two lids to Tupperware or Rubbermaid type food storage containers. Place the washed grapes on the lid, covering it entirely. Then place another lid over the top and gently press down. Slide a knife between the lids, slicing through the grapes. Repeat until all of the grapes have been cut.
