While just a few basic ingredients, this delectable spiced pumpkin raisin bread is a fall classic for even the most novice of bakers. In fact, no measuring is required at ALL!
This lovely bread doesn’t need anything added to it, no butter, no jam or jelly, nothing. It’s absolutely delicious on it’s own, slightly dense with a rich spice flavor and sweet bits of raisin in each bite. If you’d like, you can swap out the pumpkin for sweet potato.
1 can (15 oz) Solid Pack Pumpkin or Sweet Potatoes in Light Syrup (Drained & Mashed thoroughly)
1 Spice Cake Mix
a Few handfuls of raisins
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, mixing for 2 minutes, transfer to a lightly greased loaf pan and bake at 400F for 50 minutes.
Remove from oven, cool completely.
