Kick it up a notch (or 5!) with this spicy sriracha vodka guacamole; You’ve never had guacamole quite like this!
This recipe is so easy and the secret ingredient isn’t sriracha sauce, it’s actually Sriracha Vodka! You can get “taster” bottles at any liquor store for $1 and you’ll only need one for this recipe.
Depending on the time of year that you make this limes may or may not be in season. If they’re not in season you can use ReaLime, which is 100% juice and imparts decent flavor to the recipe. It’s a great alternative to fresh limes. However, if you happen to have fresh limes on hand, here’s a simple method to ensure that every drop of juice is extracted, avoiding any waste:
How to Easily Juice a Lime
Sriracha Vodka Guacamole Recipe
2 Large ripe avocados (or 4 small)
1/2 medium-sized red onion, finely diced
1 large tomato seeded and diced
1 clove minced garlic
Juice of 1 lime or 2 Tbs ReaLime
1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
2-3 tablespoons UV Sriracha vodka
salt and pepper to taste
In a medium bowl, mash avocados to the desired consistency (if you prefer your guacamole smooth, mash well, if you prefer it chunky, mash lightly.) Fold in the rest of your ingredients except the lime juice.
Squeeze the lime juice over the top and then gently fold it in again. Season with salt and pepper.
If your guacamole is going to be refrigerated overnight, you can place 1 avocado pit in the dip (until serving time) this will keep your guacamole from discoloring.
