This is by far the easiest (and tastiest!) crockpot creamed corn recipe you’ll find. This recipe is a particular favorite of our two sons.easiest-crockpot-creamed-corn

They love it so much, they now prepare it on their own so they can bring “their special recipe” any time they go to a family dinner or a potluck. They also like to add cooked ham pieces to make it a meal. We use a 4-quart crockpot for this recipe.
You’ll Need:
2 lb. bag of frozen corn kernels
1 stick margarine or butter (1/2 cup)
1 8oz. package of cream cheese (low fat or Neufchâtel can be used also)
seasoned salt to taste
cooked ham pieces (optional)

This is a true “dump” recipe for the slow cooker. Place the butter on the bottom of the crockpot (slow-cooker), then simply dump in the remaining ingredients. Cook on low 6-8 hours stirring occasionally.

Enjoy,

MarshaE

  1. Love creamed corn, especially when I add it to corn bread! This recipe will make enough for me to enjoy as is and preserve enough to make corny bread;-D

  2. Question: Will this recipe freeze well? I like to make a larger recipe like this and freeze in individual portions.

Please also respond to my email address.

    Thank you.

No one can see your email address. No, cream cheese generally does not freeze well, it becomes grainy.
