This is an old-time classic recipe that will cure your craving for sweets and takes very little effort to throw together last minute if you need a treat to bring tailgating or to a dinner party.
This recipe is so easy, you’ll do a double take when you get ready to make them wondering if you somehow missed some important step, you didn’t! In fact, if you’re really in a hurry, don’t even bother to smash the graham crackers into crumbs, just set the whole crackers right on top of the melted butter.
You’ll Need:
1 Stick of Butter, Melted (1/2 cup)
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 1/4 cups flaked coconut (sweetened or unsweetened, doesn’t matter)
1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup chopped walnuts
Pour the melted butter in the bottom of a 9″x13″ baking pan, then sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs evenly along the bottom. Use the bottom of a measuring cup to press them to the bottom in an even layer.
Layer the chocolate chips, butterscotch (or peanut butter chips), flaked coconut, then drizzle an entire can of sweetened condensed milk over the layers. Top with chopped walnuts. Bake at 350F for 25 Minutes
This makes a delicious layered bar of yummyness!
