The pantry is bare, you’ve got a cake mix and can of Soda (pop) left, here’s a simple recipe to make a quick dessert or cupcakes! For this 2 ingredient cake recipe, you’ll literally need just two ingredients, a cake mix and a 12 oz can of soda.
Mix the two items together, just until the ingredients are wet (DO NOT OVERMIX) and pour the batter into a baking dish that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
You do NOT need to add eggs or oil.
Bake according to the directions listed on the box for the size pans you’ve chosen to use. You can make a double layer cake, a 9×13 pan, cupcakes, a decorative bundt cake etc.

7up Cake– 7up and Lemon Cake Mix (To make a lemon glaze, combine 2-3 tsp of lemon juice with 1 c. powdered sugar)
