Slow cooker creamy ranch chicken, aka crockpot ranch chicken is probably one of the easiest recipes you’ll ever encounter for creating delicious, tender ranch chicken with minimal effort!
This is a quick, easy dump recipe that uses store bought convenience items such as Campbell’s soup. However, we’ve provided links to our homemade copycat recipes if you’d prefer to control the ingredients (particularly the sodium!) and opt for a more homemade approach.
Slow Cooker Creamy Ranch Chicken
1 Ranch Seasoning Dry Mix Packet
1 can Cream of Chicken or Cream of Mushroom Soup (plus 1 can of water or milk)
1.5- 2 pounds Raw Chicken Breast
1 pkg frozen Broccoli
Noodles or Garlic Smashed Potatoes
- Place chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker. In a small bowl combine a can of cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup with 1 can of milk and a packet of hidden valley ranch seasoning mix. (We make our own copycat ranch mix and use 2 Tablespoons for this recipe).
- Pour the seasoning over the chicken. Cook on Low 4 hours, add thawed broccoli, cook an additional 45 min- 1 hour. Serve over hot cooked noodles or Garlic smashed potatoes (our favorite!)
- Cook on low 4-6 hours.
- If you have time, sear the chicken on each side before placing in the slow cooker, heat 1 tbs of oil in a skillet until piping hot, add chicken breast that has been lightly seasoned with salt and pepper, brown each side on high heat just to give it a bit of color, then place in the crockpot/ slow- cooker.
