Tired of paying through the nose for mixes for kids toy ovens? Now you can make your own brownie mix!
This recipe is a little bit harder for the younger ones who may have a tendency to lose count during measuring. It calls for 2 1/2 tablespoons which is the same thing as 7 1/2 teaspoons.

You’ll Need:
2-1/2 Tablespoons flour (OR 7 1/2 teaspoons)
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon coconut oil or olive oil
pinch baking soda
dash salt
1 tsp baking cocoa
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 tsp Milk
2 teaspoons chocolate syrup

In a small bowl combine all of the ingredients, mixing well until smooth. Pour batter into prepared (greased and floured) toy cake pan. Bake as directed in child oven.

The baking time may vary according to the ovens directions. Older ovens (that have a lightbulb) cook at approximate 375F and will take about 12 minutes. Newer ovens (without a lightbulb) tend to cook at around 350F so they’ll take approximately 14-16 minutes.

Do not cook longer than 17 minutes. Remember that brownies do not look the same as a cake during baking.

Remove from oven and cool before cutting.
