Peanut butter cookies are a time honored favorite and this one is a sure classic! In order to make this into a simple mix that requires the addition of very few ingredients, we’ve used powdered peanut butter!
This makes a lovely crisp cookie on the edges and chewy in the middle. If you’d prefer a crispy cookie throughout, extend the baking time by 3 minutes. If you’d prefer a completely chewy cookie, reduce the heat by 25F.

For 1 Quart Jar You’ll Need:
1 1/4 cups white sugar
1/2 cup Peanut Putter Chips
1/4 c. Powdered Peanut Butter
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Measure each item into layers if giving as a jar gift, cone gift, etc, or measure into a large ziploc bag or vacuum seal bag & seal.

Recipe Tag Directions:
Combine the following until well blended:
1 Pkg Mix
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg slightly beaten
1 teaspoon of vanilla

Shape into walnut sized balls and place 2 inches apart on sprayed cookie sheets.
Bake at 375F degrees for 12 to 14 minutes until tops are very lightly browned.

For a Pint Jar:
1/2 c. + 2 Tbs white sugar
1/4 cup Peanut Putter Chips
2 Tbs Powdered Peanut Butter
1 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Measure each item into layers if giving as a jar gift, cone gift, etc, or measure into a large ziploc bag or vacuum seal bag & seal.

(Recipe fits in a 1 Pint Jar)

Shape into walnut sized balls and place 2 inches apart on sprayed cookie sheets.
Bake at 375F degrees for 12 to 14 minutes until tops are very lightly browned.

Recipe Tag Directions:
Combine the following until well blended:
1 Pkg Mix
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 egg slightly beaten
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla

Side Notes: If you want to make the mix even less work for the recipient, use Powdered Vanillain the mix itself and omit it from the recipe tag directions. You can also use Powdered Eggs in place of the egg and alter the amount of liquid in the directions (add 2 Tbs of Water per egg).

We frequently purchase powdered eggs for use in homemade mixes so they are “instant” and require only the addition of water & butter or oil.

The Pint size mix also fits in the Large Curvy Boxes.
