    • Yes! If you cannot find Knorr White sauce mix you can either choose to use another brand altogether, such as Coleman’s white sauce mix, or you can make your own white sauce mix.

To make a bulk Container of White Sauce Mix you’ll need:
1 cup nonfat dry milk powder
      1/2 cup flour
      1 teaspoon salt
      1/4 teaspoon white pepper (optional)
1/2 cup (1 stick) of butter

1 Whisk together dry milk powder, flour, salt, and pepper (if using) in a medium bowl.
2 Using a pastry blender or two knives, cut in the butter or margarine until the mixture resembles cornmeal.

If you’re going to be storing the mixture long term, omit the butter up front and add 1 Tbs of Butter for every 3 Tbs of White Sauce Mix you use in your recipe.
