That turned into 25 years of recipes, debt-busting strategies, and DIY content — including figuring out how to make 128 loads of laundry detergent for less than $2. Millions of families have quietly used this site to stretch a dollar without feeling like they're sacrificing anything. 1. Not in this recipe, it won’t come out- this recipe only calls for 1 tsp of baking powder with 8 cups of flour.

A Cup of Self Rising Flour Contains:

    1 cup all purpose flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt

You would be adding 4 Tablespoons of Baking Powder to the Recipe.
