Applesauce Quickbread Mix
2 C shortening
4 C sugar
7 C flour
4 teaspoons salt
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons nutmeg
Combine all ingredients until thoroughly mixed and seal in ziploc or vacuum seal bag
To Make the Applesauce Loaf or Muffins:
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Combine 3 1/3 c. Mix
2 eggs
1 c. applesauce.
Blend well, (Add up to 2/3 c. chopped nuts, if desired).
For Loaf: (greased & floured pan) Bake at 350F for 40-50 minutes
For Muffins: Bake at 350F for 20-30 minutes
Combine all ingredients and seal in ziploc or vacuum seal bag (or jar).
