Stir fry dishes are a wonderful way to incorporate several different types of vegetables into a healthy, tasty, yet dirt cheap filling dish for the whole family. Here is a simple, make ahead seasoning mix for a perfectly seasoned stir-fry.

You’ll Need:

1/8 tsp Ground Ginger
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 T. sugar
1 1/2 tsp chicken bouillon granules
1 Tbs. Cornstarch

Combine all the ingredients into a small zip close baggie or a small jar. This recipe makes enough for 1 mix.

To Use: Mix the seasoning packet with 1/4 c. Very cold water until fully dissolved, just prior to adding to stir fry. If you’d like a more “Asian” flare to your stir fry, add 1 Tbs of Soy Sauce as well.

👩‍🍳 About the Author

Melissa "Liss" Burnell started Budget101.com in 2001 because she needed it to exist — not because she saw a market opportunity. She was feeding a family of four on under $200 a month, and people kept asking how, so she started writing everything down.

That turned into 25 years of recipes, debt-busting strategies, and DIY content — including figuring out how to make 128 loads of laundry detergent for less than $2. Millions of families have quietly used this site to stretch a dollar without feeling like they're sacrificing anything. She's also the author of two bestselling budget cooking ebooks, available on Amazon.
