ingredients:
1 package chicken ramen
1-2 slice(s) ham luchmeat
1 (or so) handful(s) cheddar cheese
~1/4 – 1/2 cup milk
~1/8 – 1/4 TBSP butter
parmesan and/or romano cheese

seasonings to taste:
garlic powder
cumin
onion powder
red pepper
chili powder
salt
black pepper

Cook noodles in ~1.5-1.75 cups of water (depending on how much milk you want to add-it should add up to 2 cups) along with the butter and salt. You can add the seasonings (including packet) before or after cooking.

If you would prefer to have the ham cooked/grilled, it should be done while the noodles are cooking (or start it before starting the noodles). It’s just as delicious with or without cooking, but either way it should be torn/cut up into tiny pieces by the time you’re ready to add it.

After noodles have finished cooking, add milk, cheese (parmesan/romano & cheddar), additional seasonings, and ham. If [most/any] seasonings were not added until after cooking, let the seasonings sit in noodles (after stirring in) for 1-2 minutes before adding milk, cheese, and ham. Wait several minutes for cheese to melt in, stirring once or twice while cheese melts in.

Melissa "Liss" Burnell started Budget101.com in 2001 because she needed it to exist — not because she saw a market opportunity. She was feeding a family of four on under $200 a month, and people kept asking how, so she started writing everything down.

That turned into 25 years of recipes, debt-busting strategies, and DIY content — including figuring out how to make 128 loads of laundry detergent for less than $2. Millions of families have quietly used this site to stretch a dollar without feeling like they're sacrificing anything.
