Create your own Faux Pho with a delicious cut of flank steak, seasonings and some ramen noodles!

  • 1 tbs canola oil
  • 1.5 lbs flank steak, very thinly sliced against the grain
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 packets of ramen noodles (discard spice packet)
  • 2 tbs soy sauce
  • mung bean sprouts
  • chopped basil
  • sriracha

Heat oil in a large pot over high heat. Add beef and cook until just browned, stirring often. About 3 minutes. Transfer to plate using tongs, preserving juices in the pot.

Add bok choy to pot and cook till wilted, stirring often. Add broths and water. Stir and cover, bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to simmer, add ramen and soy sauce. Simmer until noodles become soft.

Re-add beef. Cook until hot.

Serve with chopped basil, bean sprouts and sriracha.
