To make a tasty and quick healthy dinner or lunch, here is a recipe that surely most will enjoy.
To make a Romen Salad here are the ingredients you will need. (Warning: Not all the ingredients may be used entirely.)
-Spinach/lettuce mix
-2 red tomatoes
-2 carrots
-1 red onion
-1 pear
-1 lemon
-white mushrooms
-1 purple cabbage
-whole pecans (or chopped, you will need to do so with whole ones anyway)
-1 green pepper
-1 package of ramen noodles
Once you buy all the ingredients, you can start! Depending on the number of people being served, pour the desired amount of spinach/lettuce mix into a colander and wash well. The salad will taste better with clean veggies! Then move the mix to a bowl. Wash and peel your carrots. Slice 1 and place evenly in the bowl. Now when adding the onion, you can put your desired amount in yourself. I just cut a thick slice off and chopped it, then sprinkled it in. Wash your 2 tomatoes and remove the juice and seeds. Chop one of the tomatoes and distribute it in the mix.
Next, take a few mushrooms, wash them and slice them. Distribute evenly. After that, chop up a generous portion of purple cabbage, perhaps a half a cup to a cups worth. Throw that into the salad. The cabbage will provide a nice splash of color along with healthy minerals and nutrients! Chop up your whole pecans or sprinkle pre-chopped pecans onto the salad. Cut the green pepper into short slices and add it in. Now, add the other carrot and tomato, repeating what you did before. Doing this will mix the ingredients together so one thing is not at the bottom. Next, crush the ramen noodles and sprinkles a small handful onto the top of the salad. Now, wash your pear. Cut it into several slices. Cut the slices into stars or other shapes that you desire. This will make your salad look fantastic. Cut a few slices of your washed lemon as a decoration along the side. Squeeze the remaining lemon juice into the salad. This will make the salad tangy and sweet! Remember, the amount of spinach/lettuce mix you put in determines how many you can serve. As i noted before, you may not use up all your ingredients, like the cabbage or onion. Enjoy this decorative, tasty, healthy salad!
