MYO Strawberry Sorbet

1 quart fresh, hulled strawberries
½ cup frozen apple juice concentrate
2 tablespoons lemon juice

Combine all ingredients in a food processor and puree, pour into a bowl, cover, and freeze 3-4 hours. Each hour, remove the bowl from the freezer and “re-puree” to create a very smooth sorbet.

Let sorbet sit at room temperature for 10 minutes prior to serving to soften for easier scooping.

No-Churn Strawberry Sorbet

You’ll Need:
1 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. fresh strawberries, hulled
1/3 c. freshly squeezed lemon juice

In a saucepan, combine the water and sugar over medium heat, bringing it to a boil. Stir frequently to dissolve the sugar, then simmer 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat and cool completely.

Place strawberries in a blender with the lemon juice, pulsing to combine, but do not puree. Add the syrup, mixing in and transfer the mixture to a loaf pan or ice cream container.

Freeze for two hours, then stir well, return to freezer for another 2 hours.
