2 tablespoons Shortening
2 Tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 egg
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon Salt
1/4 cup potato chips; crushed
Cream shortening and sugars until fluffy, add in vanilla. Add remaining ingredients, mixing well.
Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased Easy-Bake Oven pan.
Bake 8 – 10 minutes in Easy-Bake Oven.
Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool completely.
This is a great recipe that I have been making for years. My kids love it and it’s easy to make! The only thing you need to change about this recipe is the way you mix the ingredients together.
If you want them more cake like, then add 1/4 cup of milk and an egg (or two eggs if your family likes things really moist). This will result in lighter cookies, but still with some chewiness inside from all those potatoes!
