Scones

1 tablespoon sour cream
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1 tablespoon Sugar
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/8 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Butter
1 tablespoon raisins; optional

Grease and flour Easy-Bake Oven pan.

Blend sour cream and baking soda in a small bowl, set aside.

Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, cream of tartar and salt. Cut in butter. Stir in sour cream mixture until just moistened. Mix in raisins.

Knead dough briefly on lightly floured surface.

Roll or pat dough into 1/2″ thick round. Cut into wedges and place on prepared baking sheet.

Bake in Easy-Bake Oven for 15 minutes.

Let cool.

  1. I want to try these scones! I am always looking for new recipes. It looks like they are pretty easy to make too which is a bonus because my baking skills aren’t the best.
