Here’s a fun intermediate recipe where kids will enjoy playing with their food!

1 package Easy-Bake brownie mix
2 teaspoons water
nonstick cooking spray
1 round Easy-Bake cake layer
1 batch Easy-Bake white frosting
Shoestring licorice
Colorful sprinkles and/or candies; for decorating

Empty brownie mix into bowl and add water. Stir to mix.

Shape into 6 small balls with hands.

Spray baking pan with cooking spray.

Line balls up in a pan (flatten a little if balls are higher than sides of pan) and bake in Easy-Bake Oven for 6 minutes.

Cool and remove from pan.

Cut cake in half.

Place three of the brownie balls, still connected, in center of plate (eat remainder – yum!) for body.

Place cake halves, round side in, on either side of the body for wings.

Using spatula, cover wings with frosting.

Cut two pieces of licorice for antennae.

Attach to top of body with dabs of frosting.

Decorate frosted cake with sprinkles and candy as you choose.
