Bring the spices of India to enhance your favorite salad with this Zesty Curry Dressing Mix Recipe that can easily be made ahead of time.
To Create Dressing Mix, Combine the following into a small ziploc baggie:
1 teaspoons salt
3/4 tsp sugar
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon curry powder
dash ground red pepper
dash pepper
Makes 1 pkg of Mix
To Use:
1 pkg Mix
1/4 c. vinegar
1 c. salad oil
*Optional Ingredient**
1 or 2 finely chopped, hard-cooked eggs
Combine mix, vinegar and oil in small cruet bottle. Let set at least 30 minutes prior to serving. Dressing mixes make lovely gift basket additions.

- Combine the salt, sugar, dry mustard, curry powder, ground red pepper, and pepper in a small zip-top bag or jar.
- Seal and shake until evenly blended.
- To prepare the dressing, combine 1 package of mix, 1/4 cup vinegar, and 1 cup salad oil in a cruet bottle or jar with a tight-fitting lid.
- Shake well until blended.
- Let stand at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Stir in 1 or 2 finely chopped hard-cooked eggs, if using, just before serving.
